Introduction to Multiplexer

A demultiplexer is the counterpart to the multiplexer. This time the telephone line is at the input. The demultiplexer connects the telephone line to one of a variety of telephones. In this way, you connect two phones in a phone call. In a communication system, you find generally both multiplexer and demultiplexer.
