Into the comparator circuit you have now inserted the resistor R3. It connects the output of the comparator to its input.
By turning the potentiometer P1 and thereby increasing the input voltage Vin, you need to turn much further until the comparator switches from LOW to HIGH.
Lowering the input voltage again, you again have to turn much further back until the comparator switches back to LOW...
