At a higher input voltage Vin the output voltage Vout = 5 V remains stable...

In fact, the maximum input voltage Vin = 35 Volt.

Also under a higher load the output voltage remains stable ...

If you push the pushbutton switch S1, the output voltage remains almost stable (assuming the battery is not exhausted).

With a closed S1, a current of 0.5 A flows through the load resistor, which corresponds to a load of 2.5 Watt!

In fact, the maximum current Imax = 1 A.

Caution

Push the push-button switch S1 only briefly. The load resistor and voltage regulator are quickly heating up!
