Experiment 9 - Logic with NOR Gates

After the discussion of basic gates, you will probably be surprised that you can build all the gates and thus all the functions of digital electronics only with NOR or NAND gates. Not convinced?... In the following experiments, you build the seven basic gates only with NOR gates.

Everything you need is the C-MOS IC 4001 with its four NOR gates.

1. The NOT gate

Have are already working with NOR gates, the circuit therefore trivial.
