Experiment 7 - Feedback

With a feedback you are able to influence the width of the hysteresis of the comparator. All you need is to integrate a resistor into the circuit.

Into the comparator circuit you have now inserted the resistor R3. It connects the output of the comparator to its input.

By turning the potentiometer P1 and thereby increasing the input voltage V_in, you need to turn much further until the comparator switches from LOW to HIGH.

Lowering the input voltage again, you again have to turn much further back until the comparator switches back to LOW...
