Experiment 13 - The Retriggerable Monoflop

Often you need a retriggerable monoflop in applications. Just think of a motion detectors that turn the lights out in the parking a few minutes after the last movement.

To accomplish this, you introduce the diode D1 to your circuit...

Each time that you press the pushbutton switch S1, the capacitor C1 is connected through the diode to GND and is discharged. The switching time restarts.
