Experiment 13 - Discharging Battery II

What changes, when the Battery discharges? In order to find out leave the circuit from the last experiment connected for 10 minutes. Then disconnect the battery from the load circuit, give the battery a few minutes to "rest" and repeat the measurements.

At the battery you measure a voltage U₀ = 8.8 V.

The current through the load circuit is only I = 0.62 A.

Hence you calculate an increased internal resistor R_i = 4.2 Ω.
