Experiment 1 - The Circuit

Kirchhoff's laws make statements about the current and voltage in a circuit. But first, consider a simple circuit without junctions or multiple loops.

As soon as you connect the battery, the two resistors heat up slightly. A current flows through both resistors and turns electric energy into heat.
