Through advances in the measuring electronics, the accuracy was improved and soon there were instruments available for many different applications. Also, from the 1920s onwards, multimeters were developed.
Today the moving coil instruments have been replaced in many areas by digital technology. However, analogue instruments survive in many niches and are usually still readily available.
In this first part you experience in 7 experiments current and voltage measurements, and the difference between ideal and real instruments.
In the second part (Go on...) you experience some indirect measurements and derived measurements, such as measuring the electrical resistance.
